92-94 New wood mint aromas give this wine its great polished feel. The tannins offer a counterpoint of richness here, firm and dense. The fruit takes a while to show through, then brings the fine plum skin flavors suffusing through the wine.

Violets, cedar, cassis, plums, spices. This deeply coloured Clinet is full-bodied and generous with tannins that are ripe and dominating the palate at the moment. This will no doubt be a very good wine in 8 to 10 years time but it won't be approachable for at least 5 years.
