It is more than a bottle of wine, it is actually a new trend in gastronomy! Maybe you don't know Caves d'Esclans Whispering Angel Côtes de Provence Rosé, the best selling French wine in the United States, started it all. It may take some more time for Hong Kong to pick up this international phenomenon, but romantic Rosés are always the best choice for Valentine's Day.
In 2006, Château Prieuré ex-owner Sacha Lichine acquired Château d'Esclans in Provence, decided to make the best Rosé in the world with a little help from Château Mouton Rothschild ex-Managing Director Patrick Léon. Whispering Angel was an instant success, he established Caves d'Esclans, made the Rosé and individual brand with fruits sourced from local grape growers.
The pale colour of Whispering Angel is quite different from the other Rosés, although it looks more like a White wine, the full-bodied structure with bold red fruits and crispy acidity shows the character of a Red wine. No matter your loved one fancies red, white, or pink, this Rosé will not fail you.
