I dont know if Marsanne gets much better than this. I was skeptical of RP's score (95) but after spending 3 hours with this bottle, I cant disagree. When cold, the incredibly complex acidity of this wine is its dominant feature. I'd serve it cold with a chilled crab salad, but I'd be missing its best. As it warmed to 55 or so, it presents with aromas of acacia honey, nectarine skin, lemon custard, a hint of white powder soap, warm cinnamon, and spearmint. In the mouth, that vibrant acidity shows a cornucopia of flavors: marjoram, green papaya, green mango, pineapple skin, crushed granite, white pepper, with a beautiful long finish of lime zest, white ash, and quinine.~
