Full deep yellow. Soil-driven aromas of mirabelle, ginger, cinnamon and flowers. This wine showcases the grand cru site (the southern portion of Pfersigberg) more than the variety. Suave on entry, then dry, stony and penetrating, with hints of peach and apricot. Offers superb intensity without weight-especially for a Gewurztraminer. Really opens out and perfumes the mouth on the back end. Finishes very long and aromatic, with a touch of sweetness.
